Animal Footprint Shoes

If you ever see some wild animal tracks in the cities like New York, Boston or Ottawa – don’t panic! It doesn’t mean that animals have broken out of the zoo.

In his newest project “Outliers (Trace)”, talented Canadian artist Maskull Lasserre has designed a collection of shoes that leave realistic footprints of moose, deer, Kodiak bears, rabbits and other animals.

Lasserre has been using them to leave animal tracks in Ottawa, Boston and New York since 2011 and, according to his website, the project is still ongoing.
